Publix Buys Site for Future Broward Store

Publix Super Markets purchased a waterfront property in Hollywood for $12.77 million to construct a grocery store.

The 1.13-acre site at 3100 S. Ocean Drive was sold by Miami Beach-based 3100 Ocean Holdings, which was managed by Albert Benalloun, to Real Sub LLC — a Publix subsidiary based in Lakeland. The transaction equated to approximately $259 per square foot of land.
